1st Annual Get-To-Gather

March 10-11

For like-minded individuals and couples interested in building
intentional communities and coops with agriculture, sustainable
agriculture, organics and Permaculture as a basis.

Gather with us at Reliance Community Farms near Floresville, Texas, to
attend classes, break bread together, and visit. Attendance is FREE, as
is camping. We will have limited amount of space to throw out a sleeping
bag inside, so first-come, first-served. There are 37 acres to camp on
if you would like to throw up a tent and space for 4 RVs. (RVs $3.00 per
night to help pay for electricity, 110v only)

Schedule of Happenings:

Friday: Come anytime Friday. Nothing scheduled except a little peace and
quiet— maybe not so quiet. Time for those who would like to learn
how to run a tractor w/front-end loader and backhoe without lots of
witnesses. This is your chance to learn without knowing anyone who might
see you. Supper - we will supply a pot of beans. Bring potluck for
anything else.

Saturday:

0700-0900 Breakfast. We will provide cowboy breakfast.
0900-1030 Workshop on Planning Intentional Communities
1030-1200 Workshop on Food Storage
1200-1300 Lunch (bring your own)
1300-1400 Nap, siesta, pack
1400-1530 Hands-on Workshop - Welding for Dummies (bring gloves,
work
clothes, boots)
1530-1700 Well Drilling. This is a nasty, noisy, and get-wet kind
of class. We
will drill a well down to 75 feet or so.
1700-when Supper & Campfire. We will provide BBQ. Bring potluck
for rest.
Bring your own libations.

Sunday:
0700-0900 Dutch Oven cooking class. You cook, you eat.
0900-1030 Picking and choosing your IC members.
1030-1200 Questions and some answers.
