Yeah, I saw the trailer for it the other day in the theatre. It looks interesting. I really hope the solutions aren't Taker nonsense programs. It would be really nice if they were actually solutions. Here's hoping.

I think it's good though that they're not going the doom route. It turns a lot of laymans off. I watched the Corporation with a couple of friends of mine and they were losing their minds by the end of the film. They were just like, "Ok, I get it, we're fucked." Not the message that everyone I've watched the doc with has taken away from it (if you haven't seen it, it's a must, along with 'A Crude Awakening' and 'The End of Suburbia'). I think it's because 'our way is the right way' is so ingraned that people automatically default to it (no surprise really). So when they hear "our system is broken and will doom us" all they hear is "the only system that is possible is broken and will doom us so were fucked, man. We're in some pretty shit now. What are we gonna do? Game over, man. Game over!"

I guess I'll have to check it out.
