Mountain Top Quarterly - Call for Submissions

The Mountain Top Quarterly is a publication of the Mountain Top School, an organization dedicated to creating a new, sustainable way of living for our membership. In order to achieve this, we are preparing to teach the skills and knowledge required to create such a life.

The Mountain Top Quarterly includes articles from those interested in any element necessary for the creation of a different, sustainable future for humanity. The article may take any perspective, and given that it meets the qualifications specified below, it will be published.

The Mountain Top Quarterly is a not-for-profit magazine and cannot offer payment for any submission. All manuscripts are welcome, and represent an opportunity to share information, perspectives, and experiences. The goal is the creation of an open forum for our authors and to garner publicity for the Mountain Top School, of course. The magazine will be available as a free PDF download or in bound form, for the cost of printing, at lulu.com.

Thank you for your time,

Location

Is this periodical situated in any particular region or geared towards say... mountain people?

Also, is there going to be any degree of fact checking?

No particular location. It

No particular location. It is open for everyone. "Mountin Top" refers to the Mountain Top School, which is publishing this magazine. (So sue us, we're piggybacking a little self-promotion on this.)

There is no peer-review process, but we will do general fact-checks and may ask for a rewrite if something like "the sky is actually puce at 33 degrees S latitude" or something like it is in there. One of the requirements is high-quality writing. This is an open forum, but we want useful and insightful articles. That being said, we're providing an open forum and do not intend to restrict the flow of information. We do not take responsibility for content or sides on any of the issues that may arise. The content of each article is the sole responsibility of the writer, not the Mountain Top School or the staff of the Mountain Top Quarterly.
