To others who read this, argue it, agree with it but if you can, repost it somewhere else.  Let's start some dialogues...

To President-Elect Obama:

I'm just one of the millions.

I know I'm not posting anything new...

but has anyone realized that this political debauchery that is currently happening called the "presidential race" is like the question "Paper or Plastic" without the option of bringing your own bag?

A Christian's take on DQ's message

| | | |

I post on another Ishmael forum and came across this guy who reads DQ's books and is VERY Christian. I thought this interesting so I asked him what his thoughts were after reading "Story of B". Have any of you come across someone who interpreted Quinn's ideas this way?

Four Path Wisdom

| | | |

Sad to say, this will be a short post (getting too late over here!) but I HAVE to share this with someone.

All right -- I posted the White Road a while back and I've been considering a legend of 4 groups of people set off in four different directions. I know it's a metaphor (probably) but it gives me a way to break down the world and re-arrange it into different patterns. And then I come upon this in the recesses of my brain (yea brain!).

Rhizome on my mind

Observations:

1) My Grandfather, Coyote, is a busy sort.  He breeds with dogs which really messes up that 'domesticated' part and makes them nicely feral.  Coyote also has a thing for wolf; she's now had enough good times with wolf to make a neat Eastern Coyote crossbreed that combines the tough parts of wolves and coyotes.
