Ishmael Inspired Music Compilation

A couple of people have asked me how the comp is going , and I just wanted to let everyone know.
All songs are ready, except for the mastering of mine. Our engineer had a PC meltdown recently, and that pushed back our release date until about April 1st. He has to catch up on his paid work, which will take him until about March 1st. He is mastering my song and the Ish comp for free so that means we got pushed to the end of the line. Sorry, but ya'll know how the business world works.
Olivia, AKA SurrealSwirls, said she would the cover and sleeve art for us, which I am very excited about.
Everyone coming to the Southern Ish Conference is asked to choose their favorite passage, up to 3 paragraphs, to read for inclusion on the comp. Anybody else who wants to read on it can PM me, and we can set up sometime to call and read. EVERYONE is welcome to be on it.
Any Questions?

sure, you choose a portion, passage, etc of any DQ work, then you call me or vice versa, and I'll record you. Then, between the songs on the album a passage will play. really it has to be around 30-60 secs, so we can have room for all the songs on the CD.
Ah- all my DQ works are
Ah- all my DQ works are either on loan or in another town...guess I could try hittin up the library or the bookstore...
Would it just be easier for me to send you an audio file of some sort?

that would be even better. I totally forgot that most PCs have rudimentary recording stuff. any Sample rate will do, and wav fomat, please. Then we could do it via email, which will be cheaper on eveyone's phone bill.

Fantastic!
Hey Rory,
That sounds great. I'd like to offer my voice (not much of an offer but there you go!). Hmm, I better get a new copy of Ishmael too...
And cool, I get to call Louisiana! I sure hope Rory has a cool accent ;)Â

Still open?
Since there are still 'reading inclusions' happening, does that mean there's still time to get music included?
Care,
